Stefano from The-Undisputed sent Vincent and I a little unexpected gift. After opening the package, I was speechless for 10 minutes because of his generosity. The best part is, I’ve been eyeing this piece for 3 weeks and it turned out better than I imagined. The Egyptian cotton on this Giza pocket l/s tee feels incredibly nice. Check out The-Undisputed online shop. They will be receiving new goods in the next few weeks. Stefano! Ti ringrazio per il regalo!

A Message from Goodfoot

It makes me so sad, but I knew this would eventually come. All I have to say to GDFT is thanks for all the good times! You gave me sole and I loved working for you. xo
To our valued customers and vendors,
It’s been our great pleasure to bring you some of the most exciting products and events the sneaker market has had to offer over the last 10 years of business. Over time we’ve seen many faces pass through our doors, and made great friends along the way. We broke ground for Canada’s retail landscape, and paved the way for those that followed. Yet, nothing lasts forever and it has come time to close.
We’ve seen our market change significantly over the last few years. And, as it has changed direction, so too have we. Thus the decision to close Goodfoot and shift our focus onto new opportunities has been made. There are many exciting projects to come in our future, and we hope that everyone who supported us at Goodfoot will continue to support us in the growth and evolution of our exciting endeavors to come.
We’d like to officially take this time to thank you for supporting Goodfoot. We’ll always remember the relationships that were built, and the unbelievable energy and loyalty our customers brought to this unique shop.
Thank you,
The Goodfoot Team
PLEASE CONTINUE TO SUPPORT YOUR INDEPENDENTS!

Genric Surplus Fall 2010 Wmns
February 15th, 2010 1 comments
I recently had a booking with C2 Apperal. Kate and I went to visit their temporary showroom to see the samples for the fall collection in most of their brands. For the upcoming Fall 2010 season Generic Surplus has expanded the women’s line by introducing more women’s styles and expanding their men’s size run to fit our feet. They also made sure to give the shoes a more unisex look. As far as colors and fabrics, the solid tonal colorways are consistent throughout the collection and there is a focus on suede and leather. More looks will become available as we get closer to the season. You can find the men’s sneak peek here.

I was working at my internship when a package came for me in this morning at the shop. I know the best part of receiving goods in the mail is the anticipation and tearing the box apart, but I couldn’t say no when JK and Vincent called me asking if they could peek in the box. I came home to find these photos in my email.

Some Guns Up footage from last Saturday’s show playing this song. At that moment, nothing could have made me happier.

German shoemaker Albert Messmer was the first to realize the lack of traction on a wet football (soccer) pitch. He created the first football cleat that was the foundation to what has become hummel, a performance footwear company. 81 years later, hummel had become the official sponsor of the Danish National Soccer Team and was worn by the Royal Family. 2010 marks the launch of the hummel in North America.
hummel will be available at Off The Hook.
