EDWIN

July 31st, 2009 0 comments

Does someone know where I can find Edwin in Montreal/Canada or in Rome? I should know this one but I’ve been slacking the last few months. I am not as solid as I used to be on product. Might be because of how my old job left me a bitter taste in my mouth or because there are not enough hours in a day.

INTER Milan VS AC MILAN 2-Nil

July 31st, 2009 0 comments

Angelo is taking too long to send me pictures I took of the practice and the game. I don’t mind, those pictures are worth the wait. You’ll see what I mean when I get a hold of them. For now here is a preview from Vincent. As my good friend Carlo from a small town of northern Italy said to me over email, “Maura, you will ever see the 2 clubs that close in Italy the way you saw them in Boston”. What a blessing haha.

Boston in a few words

July 28th, 2009 0 comments

Just got back from Boston. I cannot explain to you how amazing my trip was. I met the right people at the right time, ate the most delicious food ever, bought the most priceless pieces, and experienced the most epic moments of my life. Not only did I get to see Inter Milan play against AC Milan I also met one of my football icons Materazzi IN Bodega, and I also got a chance to meet World Cup 94 Champion and AC Milan Coach Leonardo.

Here are pictures of my first two days in Boston: Shopping, Bodega, Concepts, Wally’s Jazz Club, door steps of Malcolm X’s  house, and a small nightly walk. The last photo is a line I waited for a exclusive Inter and Milan practice that I went to go see for V.I.P. tickets only. More photos to come of practice and game.

Boston till Monday

July 23rd, 2009 0 comments

I’m leaving in a couple of hours to Boston. A bunch of my friends and I are going to see the most epic game of the summer in North America… Italian powerhouses AC Milan vs Inter Milan. Ralph Lauren outlet, L.L. Bean, Bodega, Concepts, and Marc Jacobs of course will be involved in the small getaway. Weather man says it’s raining. I left the white Vans at home and brought my Sperry’s instead.

still got my heart

July 22nd, 2009 0 comments

Vincent took some amazing shots of my sneakers the other day. I left my Talaria’s in the office to avoid having the tennis ball material getting all busted up in the rain. When I came back, I realize they have been misplaced… which meant he touched them. Somehow I knew they were going to end up on onandbeyond.com. Sorry Vincent I just had to show your photos to my side of the wordpress.com. Check out more photos here. Despite the other brands out there, from Visvim to Vans… fuck it, OG Nike still got my heart.

going to get a little personal with you

The beauty about wordpress is that it allows you to see how people end up on your blog, from either which website links they clicked on to get to yours or via search engines. I’ve had many weird ones before from the search engines… maura nude, fashion industry tattoo, supertouch toronto… I’m sure you get my drift. Today, I had someone who found my blog from searching on google the term Metachromatic Leukodystrophy… the disease my mom had. That’s never happened before… that disease is so rare, my mom was the 3rd person in Canada who has ever been diagnosed with it. My heart goes out to whoever was looking for information on that illness. Oddly enough… today is my mother’s birthday. I miss her everyday.
